“Marathon Monday” WOD to benefit OneFund Boston. Open Gym at 10 am is cancelled. We will open the doors at 9:00, with heats beginning at 9:30am. This WOD is open to all and scalable for all ability levels. Suggested donation is $30.00 per athlete. The WOD is as follows:
5 rounds for time of:
4 squat clean and jerk (185/125 lbs)
15 chest-to-bar pull ups
13 burpee lateral jumps (over barbell)
*After completing 5 rounds, run 800 m
Our last benefit WOD was a huge success and I hope we can match or exceed our efforts this time. The proceeds will go to the already hugely successful OneFund Boston, to help the victims and families affected by the bombings. It is going to be a long road to recovery for many of these individuals and this is the least we can do to try to alleviate the financial burden for all of them. Come join us in this cause, even if for no other reason than to feel the palpable energy in the gym Saturday, it will give you hope for our world.
