WOD 08/05/16

It’s Free Friday again!!!!  All of regular classes are free for anyone to come try out CrossFit for the first time.  Bring a friend and introduce them to CrossFit and get a free Kill Cliff today!!! Class times are 5 am, 6 am, 8:30 am, 12 noon, 4:30 pm, and 5:30 pm.  

Hear what another one of our awesome members, Damian Ferguson, has to say about the Saturday 9 am Foam Rolling Clinic:

“Guys and gals, there’s another foam rolling clinic happening at Animas CrossFit this weekend. Thomas set me up with some techniques that immediately fixed an impacted hip problem that was affecting my shoulder (and other movements like squats and presses). I highly recommend that you not only check out this clinic, but volunteer to be assessed if you have some chronic issues. Luckily it was just myself and Chris Baade when I went so we both got full assessments and personal training. However, it would be nice to have a bigger showing this time around for such a great service and who knows you might even sign up for some sessions after seeing what Thomas can do for you! The class is 9AM Saturday and won’t cut into your open gym time. I think they even lowered the price a bit to get more people to try it out! I’ll be there for a follow up, so I hope to see you guys there too!”

Dumbbell Floor Press: 9 x 3
WOD: EMOM for 15 minutes of:
2 Handstand push ups
3 Hang clean and jerks (95/65 lbs)
4 Box jumps (30/24”)
Post WOD Mobility: Lacrosse ball smash to scapular musculature, then, box prayer stretch with band and dowel, 2 minutes; downward dog 2 minutes


11:00 am Strength class: 
Lift: 4 board press, heavy single
