WOD 06/07/17

In our little Animas CrossFit world, this is one of the ways we can measure a successful day.  This overflowing whiteboard on May 26th felt especially victorious. 

We want to express our most heartfelt thanks to our local community for making the The Crawford Memorial Fundraiser such a success.  In the midst of such tragedy, the love and unification of our community was a life raft and such a beacon of hope as we move forward.  We are beyond grateful for the participation of every person, including those that completed the workout, those that volunteered to make the event happen, those that donated items for the auction, those that ate spaghetti, those that bid on auction items, and those that dropped off anonymous donations.  You all are the core of this community and your actions fill our hearts and our hope.  Special thanks go out to Olive Garden, Garcia Brothers Marketing, Comcast, Serranos, Kauppi Kustom Landscaping, Harpole Construction, All Event Rentals, Walmart and Sam’s Club, Chick-Fil-A, Johnny O’s Spudnuts, Los Hermanitos, and Fox Hill Coffee Company for your generous and selfless donations of supplies and services for this cause.

WOD: Five rounds of:
15 Kettlebell burpees
2 Thrusters
1 Snatch
*Post methods and loads for the kettlebell burpees, thrusters, and snatch

Post WOD mobility: Glute smash, then, cow face pose, 3 minutes each; Rig hamstring stretch, 2 minutes each; Prayer stretch with bands and dowels, 3 minutes
